Continuing from last year’s sad display; Playboy will again press on with it’s, “Girls of Gaming” pictorial which is somehow proving popular enough to warrant a third year in running.  Last year we had random girls from God of War II, Sarah Morrison from the soon to be dead MMO, Tabula Rasa, another random broad from the Scarface: The World Is Yours game, Alicia Claws from Bulletwitch, Jasmine Lin from Timeshift, and lastly, Enrica Villablanca from Splinter Cell: Double Agent.  If you can’t tell by this list, you’re not missing anything.  It’s obviously just a bunch of publishers litterally whoring out their characters for a sale.

2008’s line up consists of girls in the nude from games like Saint’s Row 2, Rise of the Argonauts, Ride to Hell, Afro Samurai, Velvet Assassin, and Domination.   Again, nothing special considering if you really want to jack off to video game gals there’s plenty of other sites to fuel your fire.  I’m not knocking against people who masturbate to nude video game girls but Playboy’s “star line up” of video game girls are just dull as a rusty butterknife.  At least Bloodrayne topless got *some* people interested when Playboy ran that pictorial.  I also find the modeling and artwork job on these nude characters pretty bad.  If Playboy would get say, some real girls, to act out as these girls then they might be on to something…

Yeah right, that would be a good idea.
